In conjunction with Paul Kelley, we created an editable Flash showcase for American Repertory Theater’s redesigned website. We built it to allow a staff member to easily change the following characteristics:
- The quantity of performances to be displayed in the loop
- The duration, in seconds, that each performance should be visible before transitioning to the next one
- The yellow text that is displayed both above, and below, each performance
- The destination URL of each image, if clicked by the visitor
- The destination URL of the yellow Get Tickets Now button
Changing these characteristics is done via a simple, well-documented, XML file that can be edited at any time and, when saved, will update the showcase immediately.
